Our Canine First Aid & CPR Certification class equips you with hands-on training and life-saving techniques, helping you respond effectively to injuries, illnesses, and other emergencies. Whether you're a dog owner, pet professional, or just passionate about animal care, this course will prepare you to act fast and keep your pup safe when it matters most.

What You'll Learn

Our comprehensive course covers nine key areas of pet emergency care:

  • The importance of pet first aid & CPR – Why immediate response matters

  • Safely handling injured or ill pets – Muzzling & restraint techniques to keep you and your pet safe

  • CPR & rescue breathing techniques – Life-saving skills for emergencies

  • Treating bleeding and wounds – How to manage cuts, scrapes, and deep wounds

  • Responding to bloat, vomiting, seizures, and choking – Recognizing symptoms and taking action

  • Managing heat stroke & hypothermia – Protecting your pet from extreme temperatures

  • Caring for burns & broken bones – Immediate steps to minimize pain and injury

  • Poison prevention – Identifying hazardous foods, insects, and medications

  • Performing a head-to-tail wellness check – Routine assessments to monitor your pet’s health

Class Details

  • When: Saturday

  • Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (with two 30-minute breaks)

  • Cost: $180 for the course and certification
